I envision a country where we have the freedom to believe in whatever God/god/gods/lack thereof that we wish and not be ridiculed by the politicians, the state, and our peers. I envision a country that doesn’t try to infringe upon my second amendment rights, based solely on faulty and unproven statistic. I envision a country that doesn’t pander to a political leader based on an empty promise in a slogan with no explanation or follow-through. I envision a country where my political leaders don’t tax me out of a job. I envision a country where leaders are chosen based on their political record and not their race, the “great-white-guilt”, or their trendiness. I envision a country that doesn’t blame their leader for falling when their elected house and senate constantly tries to trip him. I envision a country that doesn’t take the working people’s money to pay the slothful, unemployed peoples to have a free ride. I envision a country that requires proof of basic civic education, payment of income tax, and ownership of at least minor collateral to vote. I envision a country who has leaders who are not afraid of doing what is right. I envision a country that has a leader that knows when and how to fight a war properly, and not institute a policy of making our men little more than highly targeted police. I envision a country that isn’t stupid enough to believe that taxing and burdening our only energy source is a good thing, given our complete lack of feasible alternative fuel and infrastructure. I envision a country with a national language, and a country that stands up for its right to have one. I envision a country whose money isn’t controlled by entertainers and narrow-sighted investors that have repeatedly failed and panicked on complete lack of education and knowledge of their investments. I envision a country that knows when corporatism is a terrible thing and doesn’t pussy into it. I envision a country that doesn’t resort to slogan, insult, and belittlement as retort to proven argument that it doesn’t agree with, simply because someone on TV said the opposite. I envision in a country that isn’t diseased with the mental disorders of liberalism and socialism in it’s highly polluted, high-population centers…
I envision a country I can be proud to call home. I envision a country that this country has become the opposite of.
What do you envision for change?
